Only 5 teams turned out for this final tournament of the season, and Bath on paper were the weakest team, none of the smaller clubs having turned out.

Bath also had both keeper on show, Sophie Gillibrand who graduates this year and Meg Critcher, due to go on placement in Chicago next season both put in good performances.

Although Bath didn’t win a game, they scored in all the matches, and the opposition sides again were made to work for their victories.

All the girls gave good performances, particularly Tora Joicey at draw and driving on goal, and Carmen Williamson, who at 16 is going to be a real player to look out for in the future.

Although coming last in this tournament, the overall league placings reflect being able to turn up and play in every tournament, Bath have only missed the January indoor. Competing and playing in all the rest.

Bath finished the season 5th out of 14, a real credit to hard work from a set of dedicated girls.
