Stanton St Quintin go to the National Pop

Bath LC has been sending coaches into Stanton St Quintin Primary School for over 15 years, and this year the school was the sole representative from the West Country to go to the National Pop Lacrosse tournament in Birmingham.

The school had qualified from the regional tournament in Guildford in June and the 8 students representing the school couldn’t have been more excited.

In the end they managed to win a couple of games and come away loving lacrosse

The annual tournament organised by England Lacrosse has representatives from all over the country plus teams representing Wales and Scotland.

Bath’s coach, Nik Roberts was also the driver for the day, taking the four boys on the 2.5-hour journey to Birmingham City University, discovering a  brilliant new game (invented by the kids) “First to speak loses” – highly recommended to any parents taking the kids on a car holiday this summer.

Well done Stanton St Quintin for a great effort, and thank you England Lacrosse for a well organised day.
