Bath Lacrosse Club believes that all young people have the right to be safe and enjoy their involvement with lacrosse. We accept a responsibility to promote the welfare of young people and protect them from harm within the club and the wider lacrosse community.
England Lacrosse defines The Lacrosse Community as all individuals, clubs, associations, and other organisations involved in any capacity in the game of lacrosse. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes all players and anyone working within lacrosse (in a paid or voluntary capacity, and whether as an employee or on a self-employed or other work basis) including all coaches, umpires, referees, and other officials.
Young people are defined as children that have not yet turned 18 years old. This Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Lacrosse Policy (the “safeguarding Policy”) applies to all members and employees of Bath Lacrosse Club. The policy sits alongside the England Lacrosse Safeguarding policy and other EL policies and regulations accessible via the England Lacrosse Safeguarding Site LINK
