Despite only having 9 players the Bath Women’s team travelled to play league leaders Cheltenham at Westonbirt School, hastily rearranged venue due to Cheltenham’s home field being waterlogged.
Captain Abi Chel was, despite the score line, very happy with the teams work ethic and attitude throughout. Good movement off the ball, fewer handling errors and plenty of energy, getting up and down the field for the full hour.
In goal Tortie (super stand in) made some fantastic saves and distributed the clear well
As with the Men’s team, numbers is a problem, something the club needs to address for the coming seasons.
